ICC Internship & Visiting Professional Programme 2025 | Entry‑Level & Mid‑Career International Justice Placements

Are you seeking hands-on experience in international criminal law or institutional support for justice programmes? The ICC offers two core pathways: the Internship Programme for early-career individuals and the Visiting Professional Programme for established professionals. Both placements provide unique exposure to global judicial operations and judicial support mechanisms.

Deadline: 31 December 2025

About the Programme

Internships are open to candidates enrolled in—or who have recently completed—a university degree with under three years of relevant experience. These roles involve substantive participation in diverse functions such as legal advisory, public information, HR analytics, IT, finance, archives, or victims and witness services. They offer a valuable bridge between academic study and professional practice.

Visiting Professional positions target professionals with at least three years of relevant experience. These roles engage in specialized projects—from country analysis and finance to legal support—allowing for deeper professional contribution over one to six months.
